21 indicted, 18 arrested in St. Louis area in cocaine sales ring

Police and the Drug Enforcement Administration have arrested 18 local members of a drug trafficking organization that brought cocaine to St. Louis from Chicago.

The group brought about eight kilograms of cocaine per month from Chicago and cooked it into a “tremendous amount” of crack cocaine, said Jim Shroba, Assistant Special Agent in Charge of the Drug Enforcement Administration.
